Actiplus is a new product that blends the clinically proven, long term effects of botanicals with the immediate effects of a beta hydroxy acid (BHA), salicylic acid. Studies have shown that alpha and beta hydroxy acids are versatile anti-aging ingredients, which provide increased exfoliation and changes in skin texture and appearance. The end result is a clinically proven, dynamic product which has the immediate effects of salicylic acid combined with the longterm effects of Actifirm TS. For example, in one clinical study 10% Actiplus (with just less than 2% salicylic acid) which compared with a 2% salicylic acid control; the Actiplus yielded a 27.8% increase in cell renewal versus the 21.2% increase with the salicylic acid.
